Our Client, Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries wanted their mascot in a soft toy form as a muti functional mascot that they could give away, present as prizes and for various other marketing activities, one of which was being photographed all around the world in interesting locations; at the beach, the Eiffel tower, The Grand Canyon and many other glamorous places around the globe.

The project involved taking 2D mascot from artwork to produce a 3D soft toy. This involved creating a flat mock up from which a draft technical drawing was produced, from which the first of many physical Drafts Toys were created. With Each draft our team carefully examined widths and heights of arms, legs, the smile, eye shape and even stitching design until we produced a Monkey Puzzle Monkey that looked like it had just stepped out of their logo artwork.

To date Marvin the monkey has travelled all over the world on holidays and delighted young children and adults alike.
