Since winning the 2017 VW Racing Cup Championship, Bobby went on to compete in the BTCC in both 2018, 2019 and was in the title fight for the 2020 BTCC Jack Spears Championship. Having returned to the Championship in 2022, he secured his first BTCC podium and regularly finished in the top ten, which enabled him to secure the prestigious Jack Sears Trophy. In 2023 Bobby became a podium regular, enabling him to build a team around him, collecting a Championship points haul every race weekend.
