Griptec provides work and tool holding solutions to all sectors within the engineering industry. They required some custom printed magnets for their trade and exhibition show but due to the nature of the clientele involved, these magnets were required to easily hold engineering drawings against a whiteboard or steel surface.

Having spoken to numerous suppliers, the client and I agreed that Neodymium planning magnets were better suited to the environment they were required for rather than Ferrite magnets.

Neodymium magnets are ideal for holding large prints and sheets of paper to notice boards or steel wall panels. They are easy to handle, with each magnet holding 15 sheets of A4 paper against a whiteboard or other steel surfaces.

The client approved the plain samples they received and were very happy with the quality. Once the artwork was finalised, the client was then provided with a printer’s proof. At first all parties involved were unsure of the print finish due to the nature of the artwork required to go on these. However, the printer kindly did a test run to ensure everyone involved was happy. The client approved the test run samples and full production began. The turnaround from proof approval to delivery was approximately 5 working days.

They arrived in good time before their exhibition and the client was very pleased with the final product.
